How can I "go on"? How can any of us? Faith allows us to "keep on keeping on" because we trust God and have placed our hope in Him. Only He can accomplish in and through us and for us what He wills and purposes for our benefit and His glory. We know He has a "big picture" and the promises in His Word allow us to know, without seeing, that what He says He will do. We can count on it because we can count on Him! The faith we have in Him builds our faith to believe, trust and hope no matter what we see/don't see! As we see God work in our lives, we understand more and more that He is our refuge and strength, that He has our best interest at heart, that He'll never leave us or forsake us, that He is in control. We come to a place where it is very natural to look to Him for what we need when we need it and know without a doubt He can and will provide it. It may be strength or assurance, encouragement, joy, peace - physical and/or spiritual needs. Absolutely nothing is impossible or too difficult with God. He wants us to come to Him and when we do He doesn't fail us. Somewhere along the way our relationship with Him has become one of trust and our faith has grown deep roots of belief - in Him and His Word - what He says and does! We have no place better to be than in the security of His loving arms. Our faith tells us so and so we walk in faith as we follow where God leads!

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
