Eyes

Are our eyes opened
are they willing and able to see,
or are we as mistaken
as the Biblical Pharisees?

Pharisees were the learned men of old,
capable of recognizing the Messiah
of whom the Scriptures told.

Were they blinded by envy
falling to Satan’s sin,
resenting Jesus for who He was
and wishing they were Him?

Today are there those of us
with eyes that cannot see,
being so close minded
they’re going to miss out on Eternity?

Are they refusing to seek
because they know what they’ll find,
to do so intentionally
would be so completely asinine?

The Bible informs that eyes have not seen
nor can we imagine in our mind,
the awesomeness that the saved will find.

This World as we know it
will soon pass away;
there will be nothing worth having
for which one would want to stay.

Those not accepting their Salvation
will burn in Hell,
eternity is forever and ever
not just a temporary spell!

Now God has been patient
but time’s coming to an end,
“God is not willing that any should perish”
on this you can depend!
(2ndPeter 3:9)

Jesus came to save sinners
not to chastise or condemn
(Matt.1:21),
and soon very soon
He’ll be returning once again.

Once He comes there’ll be no time
to make a choice,
our fates will have been sealed
by “It is finished” in His own voice.

Won’t you reconsider won’t you please
“seek” the truth to find,
won’t you ask God
to open up your mind?

An Eternity in Glory
with the God and Father of love,
I pray with all of my heart
I'll meet you in Heaven above!

How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me? Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death; Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.
( Psalm 13:2-4 )(KJV)

Let us focus our eyes on Jesus, the King of Kings, let us praise His Holy name.
