God Is Near





Under a stack of bills,
Lost your joy and thrill,
So worried you're feeling ill?
Do not fear...
God is near...
Be of good cheer.



Does it always seem to rain,
Are you continually wracked with pain,
Do your efforts seem in vain?
Do not fear...
God is near...
Be of good cheer.



God is closer than a whisper
Of His mighty awesome Name,
Closer than a brother
With power to sustain.



So in faith just call upon Him,
Don't panic, sit and stew,
An ever present help in trouble
Loves and cares for you.
