Thankful To God





So much to be thankful for
His glories each morn anew
Who could need anymore
Than His life given for me, for you



The morning sun shines thru the clouds
The birds sing a new song
His praises I will sing aloud
To Him we all belong



We're able to rise up each day
We have food our souls to feed
We can kneel to the Lord and pray
And thank Him for all we need



So giving thanks for everything
For family, for hope, for life
For giving me a voice to sing
For keeping me free from strife



For His saving grace for my soul
For day and night and love
For making me set the goal
To be with Him in Heaven above

[ 2 ] And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence,
[ 3 ] We accept it always, and in all places, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness.
[ 4 ] Notwithstanding, that I be not further tedious unto thee, I pray thee that thou wouldest hear us of thy clemency a few words.
