A New Beginning
God paves the way for new beginnings,
A place to make a new start.
To do so we must let go of the past,
Ask God to create a new heart.
We must take a different road,
Than the one that we travel.
Unless we make this choice,
Our life will not unravel.
He's waiting for us to call on Him,
Only we can make the decision.
We can receive the abundant life,
That Jesus says we will envision.
Mistakes we have made but prayer,
Touches our Father's heart.
As we draw near to His throne of mercy,
He'll give us a new start.
God will take care of yesterdays' mistakes,
Have no fear for today.
Have faith that God is with you,
You'll feel his Spirit as you pray.
