We must choose this day whom we will serve. Today is the day of salvation. The Lord God Almighty is the only right choice. Jesus is the only one who can save our souls and make us free indeed. He is the only one who is with us every step of the way. He'll lead us all the way to the portals of heaven and assures us of His ever abiding presence. The most important thing we can do is share God's word with others, as we live for Him.

Every day people make choices which they must live with. When we choose Jesus, we make a choice to serve Him now and one day live with Him eternally. Not only will He walk with us through this life, but we have a promise of eternal life with the Lord.

Isn't it wonderful to know the Lord is an ever present help? He is not only with us in times of trouble, but is there in both the good times and the bad. As David the Psalmist said, "where could I go from your presence?" He is there and desires that we let Him be not only our Savior, but Lord of our lives. Jesus will safely guide us every step of the way through this life.

Even though we may walk through the valley of the shadow of death, with His rod and staff, He will comfort us. We have no reason to fear or falter, as we have One on whom we can always depend. In the valleys of this life, we learn to lean completely on the everlasting arms of our Blessed Savior.

As we call upon the Lord, we can feel His divine presence and power. He really is the only one who will always be there. Jesus is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Give thanks today to the God of our salvation, as we choose to follow where He leads us. Keep leaning on Jesus and know that everything will be alright in Christ.

Blessed be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.
