Angels All Around
When you lay your head
to rest at night
when shades of darkness
obscure the twilight,
when you feel God's love
so richly abound,
there are unseen angels,
encamped all around.
When morning comes
and light of dawn appears
the angels have stood guard,
to help calm your fears
As the sunlight brightens
earth's golden horizon
There are dispatched
heavenly angelic watchmen.
Angels all around,
watch over God's own
sent to the earthly realm,
from God's heavenly throne
Silently they watch His children
to protect from evil
As promised by God's words,
in our Holy Bible.
I believe in angels,
who were created for God's pleasure
who minister in our Lord's behalf,
to guard His chosen treasures.
Thankful for protection, we praise Christ
our Risen Savior and Lord
and worship Him only,
for being the "Living Word."
