The Life Of Love
Still Shines

The life of His love still shines;
it leaves a mark to behold.
How precious; His sweet love,
so much more than gold.

Let us watch for Him;
He shall be coming for us soon
May we heed His precious word;
morn, night and noon.

He is Lord, the Master; the Potter;
we are but the clay
But He will guide our hand
and thoughts; every day.

When we leave; a smile shall
replace the frown before
When; we reach sweet Heaven;
when we’re inside the door.

Love shall always outshine
the ugly, sinful nature outside
But, it shall never in this old world
outshine His sweet Bride.

We look for His soon coming,
for Love still shines bright
It will light up the Heavens;
all throughout the night.

Aren’t you glad that the light
of love still shines on?
It’ll be so wonderful when we get
a first glimpse; of HOME.

Love will come to meet us;
in the form of a Savior too
He will be hugging and kissing us,
even more than parents do.

Yes, the life of love shines on;
now and forevermore
I can hardly wait; can you?
To reach Heaven’s door.

Our sweet Savior shall meet us;
gates flung wide
With His ardent love;
He’ll be ushering us all inside.
