Loving One Another





Loving one another
is a God given decree;
we’re told to love
one another unconditionally.


We’re to love one another
just as we are loved,
unconditional and unrestrained
by God above.


We’re to do unto others
as we’d like done to us;
we’re to meet their needs
without putting up a fuss.



We’re to consider their feelings
above our own,
and be forgiving of faults
just as God has shown.


We’re to feed the hungry
dress the cold,
and if we’ve the room take
the less fortunate into our fold.


We’re to reach out in love
for those hurting or alone,
we’re to follow the example
Jesus has shown.



Each of us has something
of our own to give,
to improve the life
the less fortunate than us live.


Some have finances
abundant enough to share,
while others only able to embrace
those for whom they care.


Some can afford
to shop for supplies,
while you may only be able
to wipe tears from another’s eyes.



God knows our abilities
and has given us each a chore,
He expects us to each
do our part nothing more.


Start each day surrendering
to God heart, mind, and soul,
asking His guidance
so you fulfill His goal.


Ask Him to help you to love
one another unconditionally,
in just the same way
as He loves you and me!
