God's Unfinished Work





I am the work of the Master.
A work still not yet made.
The plans have all been written.
The foundation has been laid.


His work will soon be finished.
My Lord will never rest
Until He sees His work is done
And His creation truly blessed.


His eyes are always on me
And He knows what I will be.
When His work is completed
The whole world soon will see.



His ears are always listening.
He hears my every prayer.
No matter where I am
He knows my every care.


When I'm alone in the morning
Or in the middle of the day.
When I need someone to talk to
I know He hears me when I pray.


I feel His presence all around me
And I know He's always there.
Forever meeting all my needs
And showing me He really cares.



Though I often wonder how
He could love someone like me.
He's so awesome and majestic.
What does He see in me?


Lord how can I repay you
For the love you gave to me?
Although you never asked me to.
You changed my life and set me free.


I'm just a vessel on your potters wheel
Clay in the Masters Hand.
I know you'll keep on molding me
Till I become what you have planned.
