Thank You Father




Thank you Father for another day
Greeting you with love as I wake.
The morning sunrise is bright
And the dew sparkles in the light.


Father, You know my heart is heavy
As I rise to You in prayer I scurry
For I know you are always there
You are aware of my every care.



I know You will keep me safe
Should any ills come my way.
My heart is ever so thankful,
In You my life is rich and full.


I know You're with me as I walk today.
Guiding my steps along the way.
Tonight when moon and stars are glowing
In restful sleep You'll guide till morning.



Through every hour you're with me
Feeling Your presence and peace,
Thank You for being by my side
In You I can take life in stride.
