And by that same mighty power, he has given us all of his rich and wonderful promises. He has promised that you will escape the decadence all around you caused by evil desires and that you will share in his divine nature.

It's been said that when there are tears in your eyes, God will put a rainbow in your heart. When we are sad, we can look to the Savior and find comfort and hope in Him. Even Jesus wept, and had compassion for others. All through this life, there will be times of not only happiness, but also of tears along the way. Tears are a language which God understands. He will hold your hand and one day will dry every tear from the eyes of His children. In that fair land, there will be no more tears or sorrow.

There is a rainbow of promises the Lord gives us which we can hold on to while walking this earth below. His love paints our heart with a kaleidoscope of beauty which begins with His crimson blood shed on Calvary's cross. We have the promise of steets of gold which we shall one day walk upon. There will be jasper walls and gates of pearl in that beautiful city, the New Jerusalem. The tree of life shall bloom forever and the beauty of the crystal sea cannot be imagined, until we enter that heavenly city.

We must hold on to the hand of the Lord and let Him lead us on our earthly journey. He will make straight paths for our feet as His Word is a lamp unto our feet and light unto our path. As we travel through this land, we can witness of the Savior's love and peace all along the way.

Let the joy of the Lord fill your heart and His promises be claimed through eyes of faith. For a child of God, the best is yet to come.
