In Memory Of Someone Special





They knew the Father's heart,
And knew the Father's care,
Held closely by the Father's love
His loveliness to share.


With no more need of earthly life
It's satisfaction ceased,
Their complete enjoyment now for aye
An everlasting feast.


They turned from thrills of youth
To pour love into each soul,
With every heartbeat they desired
For all to be made whole.



They knew no coldness deep inside
Knowing only greater worth,
No matter ever unconfessed
From the day of their new birth.


Engaged alone, in heavenly things
That occupy the Father's love,
Jesus, the focus of their heart
Is why they're called above.


Today, rejoicing up in glory
Forever with their Lord,
The steps of grace have walked them home
To receive a sure reward.



No sad or shifting shadows now
Will e'er the peace destroy,
For the glory of the Father's love
Will always be their joy.
