Each Day Is A Promise
Each day is a rainbow of promise,
As we wake to behold morning's light,
Each night while we sleep, our God is watching,
And keeping us safe in his sight.
The wonder of the heavens declare his glory,
The stars decorate the spacious skies above,
The majestic mountains declare his majesty,
As the whole world is filled with his love.
The flowers burst forth clothed in splendor,
With colors only God could design,
And surely all creation of the Master,
Will beautify the earth until the end of time.
Each day is a promise and newness of life,
Until time as we know now shall be no more,
And then those who are his will be called home,
To spend eternity with Jesus on that heavenly shore.
Just as he promised...he will return for his own,
And we shall be carried to our eternal home,
Until that moment may we always watch and pray,
And claim his promises each new day.
