Burden Of Guilt





Guilty feelings we may have,
Down deep within our heart.
Year by year it seems to last,
From us it will not part.



If we but ask there is a friend,
In whom we may confide.
He's the one to calm our fear,
And free the guilt inside.



Let's place our burdens at His feet,
Have faith He will forgive.
No longer should we feel this guilt,
Or with this burden live.



Our Lord is good and merciful,
He knows what is in our heart.
His forgiveness will bring us peace,
Guilty feelings from us will part.
