Prayer Brings Peace
The days when I truly struggle
I go to my Lord for peace in prayer
He is always ready to relieve me
Of all troubles, burdens, and despair.
It does not matter the time or place
Whenever I call out to Him in prayer
He will fill me with such peace and joy
With His gentle touch of love and grace.
My wonderful Lord is the greatest healer
Of the wounds I suffer and grief I bear
My Lord is ready to heal and comfort me
In all things, when I go to Him in prayer.
Prayer brings peace to me in every way
When I follow along in His footsteps
Trusting Him I know I cannot stray
He is in my heart each hour of the day.
