Lord, Why?





Have you ever turned
your eyes to the sky
And ask, "Lord, Why? ~
Why did you have to die?"

Then, as He smiled
and looked down upon me
He said, "To save you from all
of your sins and to set you free!"



"But Lord, You went through
so much hurt and pain,
Just who am I to ask to be worthy of you
and all you offer for me to Gain"

"My Father Sent me to earth
to help you and your faith
Now you are set free, free to walk
through heaven's beautiful gate"



When you feel so lonesome
and it seems that no one understands
Just pray, and ask Jesus to reach out to you
as you lift up holy hands

So once more, I'll look to the sky
but not to ask why, but to ask when
"When will you be there for me?"
And He says:
"Not just once, but over and over...
and over again"
