Just A Simple Little Prayer

I bowed my head to say a prayer
To Jesus up above
I know Lord that you care for me
You have shown it by your love.
Lord you know this trial I carry
And have for many years
Most times I hide my feelings Lord
So no one can see my tears.
I don't want to show my weakness
But sometimes I lose control
That's when satan laughs at me Lord
He thinks he has my soul.
No matter how weak I seem to be
Lord there's something you should know
I love you Lord without a doubt
With my body, mind and soul.
So please, Dear Lord keep loving me
I will try and be so strong
And keep on trusting in your love
No matter what goes wrong.
Forgive me Father on days I feel weak
And I let the tears flow down
For this battle has taken a toll on me
And my smiles just turn to frowns.
I want you to know I love you Jesus
And will do my best today,
To help someone that needs much love
Let me do my best, I pray.
