God Of The Universe
Our God of the universe
Is seen everywhere,
He is only and always
As close as a prayer.
We see Him and know Him
In all that He made,
And know Him still more
Through prayers we have prayed.
We hear Him with hearts
Tuned into His Word,
His letters of love
Prove all that we've heard.
Through seeing and hearing
God offers His best,
As He stretches our faith
We're abundantly blessed.

God calls us to a close relationship with Him. One where we can know His heart for us and where we can turn our hearts to Him. As our faith grows because we come to the place of trusting Him, we will more clearly see Him and His involvement in our lives. We'll get glimpses of the "big picture" because God's Word describes what our life and future with Him is all about. It tells us of His love and why He wants us to come to Him in prayer - that He hears and answers and enjoys us as we spend time getting to know Him better and seeking His will. As we enjoy all that He has made, we can more fully enjoy Him and that He made us. His awesomeness displayed for all to see and know, prepares hearts and minds to get to know Him - the God of the universe! |
The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. ( Psalm 19:1 )
The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. ( Psalm 24:1 )
The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices; And with my song I will praise
Him. ( Psalm 28:7 )
The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.
He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he hath set the world upon them. He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.
( 1 Samuel 2:7-9 )(KJV) |
