A Candle In The Dark





If you feel you are in darkness
and are looking for the light
There will always shine a candle
to glow for you at night


When you say your prayers
and feel no answer came
Keep believing Jesus hears you
for in joy there's also pain



Look, see a candle in the dark
angels guiding all the way
If you're lonely, believe He loves you
He is there for you today


In the dark look out your window
at the many stars above
One candle shines for you so bright
as a gift of Jesus light



Do not feel there's only darkness
our Lord has made the sun
In His kingdom there are angels
to you, He bids them come


They will help you out of darkness
in your life they pull you through
Like a candle in the dark
the light of God will shine for you



Then put your candle in the window
say a prayer for all you love
Soon the darkness will be gone
when your heart belongs to God
