The Best Love Is The Love Of God
Love is what makes the world go 'round
It stretches from heaven down to the ground
It travels the miles 'til it finds its mark
Right to the center of someone's heart.
And the heart of the matter is that God had a plan
To rescue and save His created man
He knew he would fall, He knew he would sin
He gave him a chance to start over again.
If that isn't love, then really, what is?
Who has the power to cleanse and forgive?
God is the answer, He is the One
He sent us a Savior, He sent us His Son.

How best to describe the love of God? I know His love because I've experienced His love because I've accepted His love, because I've received His gift of Jesus Christ. But better than I, His Word is the "go to" place to get a grasp of the depth and scope of His love for each of us and for all of us. I will let His Word speak for Him by reminding us through the following scripture how much and how often He confirms His love to us. It is sort of like He is saying - "How much do I love thee, Let Me count the ways"! But, of course, we can't count them all because Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.( Psalm 36:5 )
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. ( John 3:16 )
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. ( 1 John 4:10 )

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) ( Ephesians 2:4-5 )
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. ( Isaiah 53:5 )
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. ( Romans 5:8 )

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. ( Romans 8:38-39 )
And there are so many more verses of God's love toward us. It would be easy to fill a book - oh yes! There is one already and it is the Bible. Its' pages overflow with His love. How can we not love Him - our God and our Savior!
