His Joy Is Our Strength
The joy of the Lord is our strength
His happiness will fill our hearts and lives,
With Christ as our Savior, we are in his favor,
He will take away unrest, sin, and strife.
Though things may be bleak, or our bodies be weak,
We have one who is strong and secure,
When things go wrong, we have Christ we can seek,
He will give us peace, and take away all fear.
Though the storms of life may rage
and all seem as if it is lost,
Jesus will always be there,
He has already paid the cost.
We have his love to surround us, as he gives us joy
We are blessed and free indeed,
Our salvation brings us peace,
which Satan cannot destroy,
We find that Jesus is really all we need.
