God Is in Control





Relax, my friends, don't come unwound
Or try to vex your soul.
Just keep your feet on solid ground
Because God is in control.


   


If you face trials and heartaches,
And it seems there's no way out,
Just keep the faith and trust in God;
He will solve them, there's no doubt.


   


For, the Lord is faithful
and He is true;
And, remember, there's nothing
that He can't do.


   


When it seems that your burdens
are too much to bear,
Take them all to the cross.
He will meet you there.


   


Just know that the Lord
will see you through
And that He would never
abandon you.


   


When all hope seems gone
and there's a sad refrain,
Bow your head in prayer
and call upon His name.


   


There is nothing the Lord won't do for us,
Regardless of race or tribe,
Because His love knows no color;
neither black or white,
The Lord only sees what's inside.
