Another Mountain



Yesterday, I finally reached

The mountaintop in my journey…

I’ve sometimes stumbled…

Not wanting to go on

Yet, I knew… I could not give up



Finally I found rest in the rays of comforting gold

Thinking I’d never reach my destiny

Then I looked down upon my tears

Where in the valleys… they flowed



While there… I prayed

As once again… I fell upon my knees

Then the Lord took my hand in His

Gently lifting me



Speaking to my heart

Of forgiveness and love

Words so comforting and pure

Only through Him… Did I find

Peace was reassured



If I should ever find another mountain

That I must climb

I know the Lord is by my side

Today and tomorrow… throughout all time
