We all know people who are lost but don't know it. And many times they are our very loved ones. They are people we care about and who we want to know Christ as we do. Ones we pray for and share His message of salvation with. And when we can, we let go and let Him have His way in their hearts and lives. We pray for impact and influence from the Holy Spirit as He works in and through all that touches them. And then we continue to pray as we step away and leave them with Him. And sometimes we despair as we wonder if they "get it" - the message of Christ dying for them as He died for us all - and if they ever will. And we marvel that something so simple yet profound can slip by the understanding and acceptance of dear ones who seem so like us. It seems that anyone with a sincere and seeking heart because he knows he needs a Savior will turn to Jesus Christ for salvation and eternal life. But a stubborn heart will close itself to the One who gave His life and look for another way to be saved. Alas, there is no other way to the Father but through the Son. Thank God for this truth as we continue to pray for changed minds and hearts in those we love the most.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
