Our Risen Savior
Our Savior has risen
The glorious Son,
He lives forever
The victorious One.
From the cross to the grave
And then heavenbound,
Jesus the Christ
Is where new life is found.
New birth and new life is what Jesus brings. He is all that we need to find a new start. To begin again. He is a new day, a new season, a new year, a new life to any who seek Him and to all who find Him. He fills us with hope and joy and peace if we let Him.
Spring comes with freshness in the air as it brings new birth. There is freshness in our hearts when they become new in Christ. Rebirth in the things of nature brings gladness to us as we experience the beauty of new green grass, buds on the trees, flowers springing up, birds calling to each other as they build and ready their nests for new life, and all of the sounds and smells of the season.
But the joy of knowing Jesus and all of the new things He brings to our lives bring such rich blessings to us and remind us that He is our Savior and Redeemer and only through Him can we experience new life for ourselves. Our new life in Him allows us to enjoy the new birth that comes with Spring because we see with new eyes and have a new, fresh understanding of the gift that He is.
His gift of salvation and eternal life brings new hope at Easter time. Our hearts overflow with gratitude as we worship our risen Savior.

The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
( Luke 24:7 )
Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life, He who believes in Me, though He may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?
( John 11:25 )
And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
