Life Isn’t Always Easy
Life isn’t always easy nor does God
promise us that it will be,
but there is a way of salvation
that each that looks will see.
Salvation is a gift that we each
must accept to receive,
and within each and every one of us
is the ability to believe.
There’s a longing within
that we may not recognize at first,
many have experienced
an unquenchable thirst.
A thirst unsatisfied
by any Earthly means,
a thirst left unsatisfied
till the offer of salvation is gleaned.
I don’t mean to mislead
or cause you to go astray;
accepting salvation doesn’t
make difficulties go away.
Sometimes the very opposite
in fact is true,
once you’re saved the enemy
wants to dissuade you.
He’ll bombard you
with trials of every kind,
but if you lean on Jesus
you’ll have peace of mind.
Jesus will never leave us
nor forsake us we’re told,
there are many examples
in the books of old.
Life’s not easy whether
or not we’re saved,
but it’s too late to choose
once you’re in the grave.
Open God’s Word
seek to find what’s true,
God is extending
an invitation to you!
