My Path To Inner Peace




Take my hand, Dear Lord
This… I daily pray
Guide me and direct me
Through all… my earth bound days


When I look across this land
Lead me in the path of righteousness
So I may understand…
The burdens and the plight
Of every child, woman and man



Place gentleness… upon my now clasped hands
In helping to wipe away their tears
Please fill my heart… with soothing words
So I may ease… their hurts and fears


Fill my voice with the sweetest song
Of Your unconditional love
In telling everyone of Your forgiveness…
When things in life…go wrong



As I bow my head… today
Adding the friends… I’ve yet to meet
Plus those I know and dearly love…
I ask for their protection
And guidance from above


Praying they, too…
Will also do the same
As once again, I find…
My path to inner peace
Whenever… I call Your Name
