The Sacrifice Of Unconditional Praise

Anyone can praise God when all is going good
and the circumstances of life bring rewards.
Then it's natural to look high at His goodness and grace
and bring an offering of praise to the Lord.

But true faith in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ
will cause a soul to see His goodness each day.
For unconditional worship and honor comes forth
when faith is real and unwilling to sway.

And blessed are the eyes who always see His greatness
even when life falls apart at the seams.
For they will see the unchanging, solid nature of God
still there after their shattered dreams.

It's the purest kind of praise rising up from the soul
that's been battered & bruised in the heart.
For those praises are based on His sovereignty and mercy
and the eternal that never departs.

Those who learn the 'secret' of abiding in His shadow
and not the temporary successes of the hour,
Learn to see every weakness, not merely as a deficit
but as a place God can fill with His power.

Oh, the aroma that must linger near the Throne Room
when God hears the sacrifice of unconditional praise.
And His children receive the blessing of worshiping His face
right in the midst of their difficult days.

[3] ~ Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
[4] ~ One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple.
[5] ~ For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
[6] ~ And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

( Psalm 27:3-6 )(KJV)

[16] ~ His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.
[17] ~ I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.
( Psalm 7:16-17 )(KJV)

We should praise our Heavenly Father at all times.
