Glory In Weakness

For the Christian and follower of the Lord Jesus Christ
there is glory in the weaknesses of life.
For the God of all grace attends to our great needs
always showing Himself through our strife.

As strange as it sounds...it's the weak things that reveal
precious truths God desires that we know.
And the things that hold us back from the normalcy of life
are the things that make us spiritually grow.

It's the areas of life where we feel utterly helpless
that drive us higher toward His heavenly place.
And they make us seek help that only God offers
...then we're blessed by our time at His face.

It's those problems we can't easily shake off in a day
that make us humble, as we keep pressing on.
For we're refined by the very same things that afflict us
as we walk in His strength and be strong.

It's the weaknesses that teach us not to trust in ourselves
but puts the spotlight on the power of One.
For we become softened...more tender & Christ-like
and more reflecting of God's only Son.

It's the weakness...plus surrender,
that creates the environment
where God's Spirit reveals His glory and fire.
Then God shows us His goodness...
and speaks words of encouragement
more than any mortal tongue could inspire.

Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
( 2 Corinthians 12:8-10 )

With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding. With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding. Behold, he breaketh down, and it cannot be built again: he shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening.
( Job 12:12-14 )(KJV)

God will supply our needs.
